Our lovely waterfront location provides a peaceful setting to enjoy knitting with friends, both old and new. We offer day and evening classes, including beginning knitting and crocheting, specialty classes, private appointments and scheduled drop-in help sessions. We also have special workshops with some of today's most popular and experienced teachers from around the world.

Skill Levels & Homework
When signing up for a class, please note the skill level required and if there is homework.
If you do not hear about homework from us, please call the shop and inquire. Homework is designated by an * after the class name.
Novice: Never even held a pair of knitting needles? You are a novice.
Advanced Beginner: Know how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease.
Intermediate: Know a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit the round, and mid-level shaping.
Advanced: Know lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row.
Any skill level.
Class Policy: As space is limited, full payment is required to reserve a class. Please note skill level required and if there is homework. Class materials must be purchased at the shop in advance.
Cancellation Policy: Class and workshop fees are refundable or transferable up to two weeks before the start of the class. We cannot refund or transfer after that. Teachers reserve the right to cancel with less than three sign ups.

Private Finishing Help with Karen George
Many of you know Karen as the magician who makes all your pieces look like the garment you imagined. Now she will teach you how to finish yoru own garments in one-on-one sessions. Each session is one hour and will be scheduled by appointment with Karen. Fee is $45 per session.
