CH01: Introduction to Weaving

In this one-day workshop you'll learn about weaving tools, vocabulary, technique, and yarn selection while preparing a Cricket rigid heddle loom to weave a beautiful scarf. This loom is the equivalent of a 2-harness loom, allowing you to weave such items as table runners, placemats, purses, bags and more. The skills and techniques you learn using a rigid heddle loom also transfer to other types of looms, including table and floor looms. This is a great introduction to see if weaving is for you.
