Granite Stitch Shawlette

The Granite stitch (aka Moss Stitch, Linen Stitch... and several other names) is a versatile stitch that can be used to crochet many items such as wash cloths, baby blankets, scarves. In this class you'll use the granite stitch combined with increase stitches to create this triangular shawlette. 
Model was created with one skein of Baah and two mini skeins of Baah for the tassels. 

Materials and Equipment Required:
400 yards of any fingering weight yarn. For a larger shawl, buy an additional skein.
100 yards of any fingering weight yarn for the tassels
Size H-8 crochet hook
Tapestry Needle

Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company and wound before the first day of class.

Please Note: If necessary, class and workshop fees can be transferred to another class or credited to your account up to two weeks before the start of the class.

Amanda has been creating with fiber for almost twenty years. She became a self-taught crocheter in 2003 and picked up the love of weaving and knitting over the last several years through classes at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company. Amanda has taught rigid heddle weaving with Carla since 2019.
