AA17: Pressed Flowers: Shawl, Cardigan OR Pullover

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! In this class, you can select the shawl, the cardigan OR the pullover sweater! We will discuss fit, ease and measurements in the first class. Cardigan and pullover can be made in any length.

Pressed Flowers is a delightful pattern that has an interesting knitted/woven appearance done using mosaic knitting technique in two colors to create a geometric repeated floral motif. Previous experience with stranded colorwork recommended; we will learn to read a chart in this class.

Choose from a wide variety of DK weight yarns, including The Fibre Co. Acadia, Malabrigo Rios, or our new Rowan Tweed.

Materials for the Cardigan available in bust sizes 37-74":
16” and 29” circular needles, sizes #3 and #5 or size to obtain gauge, plus 1 set (4) each double pointed needles (DPNs) in sizes #3 and #5
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle
Yarn: **For cardigan or pullover, see pattern for yarn amounts by your size**

Materials for the Pullover available in bust sizes 37-73"
16” and 32” circular needles in #5 and 16” and 32” circular needles in #7, plus 1 set (4) each double pointed needles (DPNs) in sizes #5 and #7
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle

Materials for the Shawl finished size is 75" wingspan and 33" deep at the point
Needles: #6 32-inch circular or longer
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle
Yarn: Model of shawl is done in The Fibre Co. Acadia
Shawl Main Color: 4 skeins (548 yds)
Shawl Flower Color: 3 skeins (448 yds)
