CHAW: Coaster Class



What can you say about coasters? They’re handy, they’re cute, they’re fun to weave. 
Warp your loom and get started on a batch! This is a great way to use up leftover yarn and try out some new patterns.


Completion of Introduction to Weaving at ABYC or equivalent is recommended. 

You should be able to independently warp a rigid heddle loom. 

Materials and Equipment: Loom with 10" weaving width minimum, 8-dent reed, 2 shuttles, bent end tapestry needle for hemstitching. Various yarns are used in the models. 

***Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company before the first day of class.
Yarn must be wound, if necessary, before the first day of class.***

Please Note: If necessary, class and workshop fees can be transferred to another class or credited to your account up to two weeks before the start of the class

Requirements:
Please bring the necessary weaving tools and equipment: loom, appropriate rigid heddle reed, shuttles, brown paper to fit the back beam of your loom, waste yarn, cardboard roll the width of the front beam, scissors, tapestry needle, pencil, paper for note-taking.
