AW19: Sulta Triangle Wrap

We're moving right along working through the patterns in the The Tunisian Crochet Handbook by Toni Lipsey. This next pattern is a shawl that will feel like a warm hug. Learn to make one for you or for a friend so you'll be ready for the cooler nights ahead.

This is a 3 part class, each session is 2 hours long. Please try to attend all 3 sessions for best results.

Materials and Equipment:
Pattern: Purchase The Tunisian Crochet Handbook by Toni Lipsey, available at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company.
Yarn: 595 yards total of a worsted to chunky yarn in two colors.
The model was made with 4 skeins of Rios by Malabrigo in two colors. Other great yarn options include: Remix or Remix Chunky by Berroco, only 2 skeins of each color are needed.
Hooks:
Size US N (10 mm) Tunisian crochet hook with a 32" cable or
Size US M (9 mm) Tunisian crochet hook with a 32" cable
Notions:
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker

Prerequisites: Basic crochet skills are recommended.

Homework: Before the day of first class have your yarn purchased from Alamitos Bay Yarn Company and supplies, yarn wound, if needed.
