Students will choose another pattern from the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book or another pattern by Julie Weisenberger that uses the Cocoknits method. Further instruction and techniques will be given to improve upon and expand the student's understanding and ability to construct a seamless, top-down sweater.
Prerequisite: Cocoknits Sweater Workshop I - This is not a class to learn how to knit.
Material Needed:
–Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book by Julie Weisenberger, available at the shop.
–Each project’s specific yarn and needle requirements are listed in the book along with the patterns.
–Necessary and optional notions are also listed on page 10 of the book, and are available at the shop.
Students will need to knit a gauge swatch of at least 4" X 4" with the project yarn and necessary needles to achieve the gauge established for the pattern. Make sure to measure gauge for stitch and row counts before AND after soaking/blocking the swatch.
***Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company before the first day of class.
Yarn in skeins must be wound before the first day of class.
