AA19: Traveling Companion Shawl
This beautiful shawl can be knitted in one or two colors and is a great introduction to reading charts for knitting and knitting lace. You can choose two contrasting solids or create the shawl in all one color. The unique 3/4 of a square shape makes it stay on your shoulders and provides a fun sampler of several different lace patterns.
Materials and Equipment:
Yarn: Any Fingering weight yarn: 510 yards for solid color OR 380 yards main color & 200 yards of contrast color
Needles: #5 36-inch circulars
Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle, row counter (optional)
