AW29: Beginning Crochet



Learn how to crochet by making easy fingerless gloves. If you haven't crocheted before or just want to brush up on your skills, this is a great class for you. 

This is a 3 part class. Please try to attend all 3 sessions for best results.

Materials and Equipment:

Yarn: At least 200 yards of a worsted weight yarn. A lighter color is recommended.

Hook: US H/5.00mm
 
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

***Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company and yarn in skeins must be wound before the first day of class. ***

Note: Class and workshop fees can be credited to your account or transferable up to two weeks before the start of the class. We cannot credit accounts or transfer after that.

You will learn basic crochet skills including chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, and double-crochet.

Pattern will be provided in class.

Instructor Bio:
Amanda has been creating with fiber for over twenty years. She became a self-taught crocheter in 2003 and picked up the love of weaving and knitting over the last several years through classes at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company. Amanda has taught rigid heddle weaving since 2019.
