CHAW: Weave 3/1 Huck Lace
Learn how to place and weave with a pick-up stick to create 3/1 Huck Lace on a rigid heddle loom. This is easy technique to create texture and has a variety of applications. Choose from a scarf, shawl, or dishtowel.
Completion of Introduction to Weaving at ABYC or equivalent is required.
You must be able to independently warp a rigid heddle loom.
Materials and Equipment: Loom with 15" to 20" weaving - depending on the project, 1 pick-up stick 4" wider than your loom width.

Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company before the first day of class.
Yarn must be wound, if necessary, before the first day of class.
Please Note: If necessary, class and workshop fees can be transferred to another class or credited to your account up to two weeks before the start of the class.

Please bring your loom, stand, and these supplies, to all weaving classes: warping peg, heddle hook, brown paper to fit the width of back beam, waste yarn, cardboard roll to fit front beam, scissors, tapestry needle, pencil, paper for note-taking.
