World Wide Knit in Public Day - June 13th
Every year, on the second Saturday in June, Worldwide Knit in Public Day encourages knitters to come together and enjoy each others company. It is also a day for experienced knitters to teach others to knit.
With that in mind we will have teachers available to help someone get started. If you have a friend that has interest in learning bring them with you, must be at least 16 years old. It won't be a separate class it will be one on one attention to get them started. We will have starter kits available for $15.00. Kit will include size 8 circular needle, skein of coastal cotton, washcloth pattern all in a cotton bag.
There will be a couple of tents up for shade, if you don't have a chair there will be a limited amount of folding chairs available. There is also seating inside.
Bring a favorite handmade piece and we can have a show and tell. We all love seeing what could be our next project!
