
Nothing But a Houndstooth!

The houndstooth pattern is a one of the most recognizable color-and-weave patterns.
It can be woven as an all over design or just in sections, in any handwoven garment or accessory.
We have several scarves, shawls and dish towels with this pattern to inspire you.
Come in before the first day of class to see samples and materials requirements.
Completion of Introduction to Weaving at ABYC or equivalent is recommended.
You must be able to independently warp a rigid heddle loom.
Materials and Equipment: Loom width and reed dependent on yarn used in your project, 2-6 shuttles
***Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company before the first day of class.
Yarn must be wound, if necessary, before the first day of class.***
Please Note: If necessary, class and workshop fees can be transferred to another class or credited to your account up to two weeks before the start of the class.

Requirements: | Please bring your loom, stand, and these supplies, to all weaving classes: warping peg, heddle hook, brown paper to fit the width of back beam, waste yarn, cardboard roll to fit front beam, scissors, tapestry needle, pencil, paper for note-taking. |
