Sewing for Weavers!



Do you have a handwoven kitchen towel or rug that needs a hem? Do you prefer your scarf or shawl to be fringeless? Want to turn a piece of handwoven fabric into a simple poncho or top? Then you need "Sewing for Weavers"!
You can watch the following steps - cutting handwoven fabric, securing raw edges, turn edges and pin to prepare for stitches, stitching by hand, stitching by machine - or complete any of these steps yourself.
There will an ironing station and a sewing machine set up to share.
Some experience with a sewing machine is helpful.

Materials and Equipment: Please bring your own pins, a tape measure and scissors. 
If you want to bring your own sewing machine please bring an extension cord. 


Please Note: If necessary, class and workshop fees can be transferred to another class or credited to your account up to two weeks before the start of the class.
