The Weekender Crew Sweater
The Weekender Crew Sweater is worked from the bottom up, seamlessly, except for a small seam at the underarms. Starting with a split hem, the body is joined in the round and worked that way until the divide for the sleeves. The remainder is worked flat, and the shoulders are finished with an exposed seam created using the three needle bind off.
Model is knit in DK weight, Dos Tierras by Malabrigo (50% merino wool, 50% baby alpaca)
Materials and Equipment:
Yarn: 1016 - 2270 yards, available in 9 sizes.
Needles: US4 and US6 32-40" circulars
Notions: Tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, and paper & pencil for taking notes.
Before Class: Knit and block a gauge swatch of 5" X 5" with your yarn and US6 (main body)needle

Becky enjoys knitting for gifts, learning new techniques and sharing her skills with others. |
