Cozy Cotton Rug Club
Weave a cozy, all cotton rug. Add a touch of handmade to any room in your house with this functional weaving project. And, you'll be able to machine wash and dry your new rug for easy care.
Choose from several patterns and color ways. Come in to see shop models.
Completion of Introduction to Weaving at ABYC or equivalent is recommended.
You must be able to independently warp a rigid heddle loom.
Materials and Equipment: Loom width 25", 1 28"- 30" shuttle.
Yarn for warp is Coastal Cotton 400 yards total with an 8-dent reed, or Berroco Pima 100 cotton or Coastal Cotton Fine 550 yards total with an 10-dent reed.
Weft yarn is Mop Cotton, approximately 100 yards.
***Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company before the first day of class.
Yarn must be wound, if necessary, before the first day of class.***
Please Note: If necessary, class and workshop fees can be transferred to another class or credited to your account up to two weeks before the start of the class.
