CHAW: Weaving Workshop

If you missed a class or the dates just didn't work, then come to this workshop class. Consider the Hopscotch shawl, Cozy Cotton Rug, Zebras on the Serengeti Scarf, The Rabbits, Math & Nature Scarf, Birch Bark Table Runner, **double-width weaving and, of course, Dishtowels! Bring your yarn, loom and equipment to warp your project in class. Or bring your loom with a project in progress to get help with a weaving technique. Problem solving (broken threads, warping errors) and finishing options can also be discussed.

Come in before the first day of class to see samples and materials requirements.
** Double-width weaving requires a loom with a 2 reed
capacity.

This is NOT an introduction class. You should be able to independently warp a rigid heddle loom. If you need help with basic warping, please consider taking the Intro to Weaving as a refresher course.

***Yarn for the class must be purchased at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company before the first day of class.
Yarn must be wound, if necessary, before the first day of class.***
